SMS messaging & consent
How KontextIQ uses text messaging.
Last updated: June 2026
KontextIQ LLC operates a single toll-free number for internal operational alerts. This page describes who receives those messages and how consent is established. It is the public record for our toll-free messaging registration.
The short version
- Text messages from this number go to exactly one recipient: the business owner.
- They are internal operational alerts, not marketing, and never sent to patients, clients, or any third party.
- Consent is first-party: the owner registered their own mobile number to receive alerts from their own tooling.
- Volume is low (under 100 messages per month).
- The recipient can stop the messages at any time.
Who receives these messages
The sole recipient is Zach Dissington, the owner and operator of KontextIQ LLC. No customer, patient, prospect, or other third party ever receives a message from this number. There is no consumer-facing SMS program and no list of subscribers.
How consent is established
Consent is first-party and verbal/self-directed: the business owner configured his own mobile number as the destination for operational alerts inside KontextIQ's internal tooling. The sender and the recipient are the same business. No outside party is messaged, so no third-party opt-in is collected. This registration documents that single-recipient, owner-to-self arrangement.
Verbal consent script
The exact verbal consent script affirmed by the owner when enabling these alerts. The owner is also the sole recipient.
KontextIQ LLC — SMS verbal consent script (spoken/affirmed by Zach Dissington, owner):
“This is the verbal consent record for KontextIQ LLC's internal SMS alert program. I, Zach Dissington, owner of KontextIQ LLC, am enrolling my own mobile number, (803) 554‑2186, to receive recurring internal operational text alerts from KontextIQ's toll-free number — sales-inbox notifications and system-health alerts only, not marketing. Message frequency is recurring, fewer than 100 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. I can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or reply HELP for assistance. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. By configuring my number in the tooling, I consent to receive these messages.”
What the messages contain
Two kinds of internal alert, both tied to running the business day to day:
Dental reply from a sales inbox: "Sure, what times work this week?" — answer in the Unibox within 5 minutes.
5 new email replies in the last few minutes — open the inbox.
System health check FAILED (3 consecutive). Check the service.
Frequency and cost
Estimated volume: low, fewer than 100 messages per month.
Message and data rates may apply, charged by the recipient's own mobile carrier.
How to stop or get help
The recipient can reply STOP to any message to opt out, or remove the number from the internal tooling configuration. Reply HELP, or email zachdissington@kontextiq.com, for assistance.
Privacy
Mobile information tied to this number is used only to deliver these internal operational alerts. It is never sold, shared, or used for marketing, and it is not shared with third parties for their own purposes. See our privacy & data handling page for how client data is treated.
